When someone visits wholesale.chickidee.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this.
Search engine
Search queries and results are logged anonymously to help us improve our website and search functionality. No user-specific data is collected by either Chickidee or any third party.
Shopify
We use Shopify as our storefront software. This collects information including your name, delivery address, and recently viewed items. These details are collect and use to ensure we can communicate with customers about purchases, and provide updates on orders.
Shopify will send you updates via email to confirm your purchase and again once your items have been dispatched.
You can change your details such as your address by signing in to your account at www.chickidee.co.uk (or www.wholesale.chickidee.co.uk if you are a wholesaler), clicking through to your Account, and amending the relevant details.
Other software providers
We use two online software providers for our inventory management and customer management system, including Linnworks, and Vend.
These online software providers may store information such as your name, delivery address, and recently viewed items. These details are collect and use to ensure we can communicate with customers about purchases, and provide updates on orders.
By changing your name and addresses through your Shopify Account (explained in more detail above) your data will also change throughout out other software providers.
We work closely with these companies to ensure that your data is protected, and we will never share your information for marketing purposes.
Email Abandoned Baskets
In case you leave your basket early and have logged in, registered, or begun inputting details, we may save your details and basket, and contact you via email using the details you’ve provided to ensure you get the best possible service and ensure you don’t miss out on your purchase.
You unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email you receive.
E-newsletter
We use a third party provider, Omnisend, to deliver our e-newsletters which include information such as new product releases and special offers. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter.
We may use your email address on marketing platforms to help us learn more about our audience. We will never sell or give away your email to third parties.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email you receive.
Your Right Under GDPR
You have the right to access your data, amend your data, and delete or suspend your data at any time. To do this, please email us on support@chickidee.co.uk with your requests and we will respond within 30 days.
